FranLink System™Powered by the Franchise Broker Association
The public description of our phony franchise would need to include the serious basics and be written in the format as if read by a client that has never heard of your concept. When thinking about what to write, pretend you’re at a public franchise expo and perfect stranger approaches your booth to learn about who and what your franchise is – this is what you want written here.
This is our concept in a “nutshell”, this is what we do as a service and who we market to, this is how we are different from our competitors and this is how/why we are so unique or special. These few items can be bullet points as well. Try not to mention your history or back story – there is a designated spot for this, no details about commissions or broker related materials needed here, you have a broker section coming up – save it.
The other essential info you must include in this section is what a franchisee does on a day-to-day basis. This is crucial for a prospect and the broker to know, but this is the section for those details. List it all out as if a 9 to 5 job so there can be no confusion on “but what do I do everyday”.
